Just a quick newsflash:
After the devastating earthquake on the 27 February 2010, the UN and its Member States are assisting the people in need. The earthquake was of 8.8 magnitudes and has killed 723 people as well as affected around 2,000,000 people! There is no electricity, food or water!
On top of that, there is the risk of a Hepatitis A outbreak as the result of the earthquake. The Chile Government has requested around 800,000 vaccines to avoid the risk; Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) is seeking to secure donations of 800,000 doses of the Hep A vaccine from pharmaceutical companies around the world.The World Food Programme (WFP) is helping Chile with offering 30 tonnes of food, packaged and ready for transportation from Ecuador, to feed the starving.
After Haiti, NOW Chile, what a disastrous start in to the year!

This is really sad as Haiti just happened! And the fact that they are at risk of a Hep A outbreak makes it even worse. But good that they are managing the issue before it takes over!
This is really tragic especially because this took place a month after Haiti. It will take long to take care of the damadge and rebuild the infrastructure.
2010 does not seem like a good year for many many people!
The shock of yet another tragedy of this nature in such short time in between Tahiti and Chile leaving so much devastation

There are many organizations helping, and through facebook are ribbons of solidarity and actual help through organization like Cruz Roja Chilena. However sometime words of solidarity say and reinsure many

Yea 2010 doesn't seem to be good for some people. A facebook friend commented about this saying maybe God is speaking to us, it's scaring if this is true. In any case, if God isn't behind this, then nature is surely speaking to us. Some scientists say there's nothing unusual about these earthquakes, like two in a row is perfectly normal!!!! I just hope the organisations helping out genuinely are caring and not just taking advantage of the system!
